Dedicated Time & Space

Stepping away from your regular routine creates the space needed to focus entirely on each other. Without distractions, you can explore sensitive topics and reconnect on a profound level in a safe, guided environment.

A Space to Slow Down and Reconnect

Set at Jordan Farms, a private retreat venue tucked into the rolling hills of Loomis in Placer County, our Marriage Retreat offers the ideal backdrop for couples ready to slow down and reconnect. This peaceful, countryside haven, complete with orchard views, heritage oak trees, and walking paths, invites you to step away from the noise of everyday life and turn fully toward each other.

Over the course of the weekend, you’ll participate in guided sessions, thoughtful conversations, and evidence-based exercises led by a skilled therapist. Whether you're healing from old hurts, navigating a major transition, or simply feeling distant, this retreat is your chance to gain new insight, deepen your bond, and return home with a renewed sense of partnership.

The retreat takes place in a newly built, thoughtfully designed farmhouse offering over 1,200 square feet of private comfort, including a cozy bedroom, a spacious bathroom, and a full kitchen for your convenience.

Let the calm of nature and the clarity of focused support help you rediscover the strength of your connection.

How We Help

Every couple's journey is unique, and our retreat is tailored to address a wide range of issues, including:

  • Learn tools to communicate and resolve conflicts.

  • Heal old wounds and rebuild trust after betrayals.

  • Rekindle emotional closeness and physical intimacy.

  • Navigate big life changes with more confidence and unity.

  • Process grief or loss and support each other through healing.

While our retreat is highly effective for many relationship concerns, it's not suitable for addressing severe mental health issues, ongoing substance abuse, or situations involving domestic violence. For these concerns, we recommend seeking specialized, ongoing therapeutic support.

Hello, I’m Blair. My approach to therapy is grounded in empathy and a deep commitment to meeting each person where they are in their journey. I aim to help individuals and couples live lives aligned with their values and passions, fostering healing and growth along the way.

I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities to tailor my approach to your unique needs. In addition to traditional therapeutic techniques, I have specialized training in Christian-based treatments, offering a faith-centered path for those who desire spiritual integration in their healing process. My goal is to ensure that therapy is a space where both your emotional and spiritual well-being are nurtured.

Life is full of challenges—hurt, sadness, disappointments, and setbacks. Sometimes, we make choices, either consciously or unconsciously, that hurt the people we love the most. Therapy is a safe, non-judgmental space to explore those difficult areas of life and find a way forward. I’m here to walk alongside you, offering support as you take that first step toward healing and growth.

As a therapist, I not only listen but serve as a companion and guide to help you achieve your goals and uncover your strengths. For couples, I offer intensive therapy that combines compassion with effective therapeutic methods, including faith-based interventions when desired, to help you build stronger, more connected relationships.

Faith-Based Marriage Intensive Approach

In my work with couples, I see the relationship itself as the client. I take an integrative approach, blending Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method, both of which I adapt to include faith-based principles for couples seeking a Christ-centered path forward. EFT, rooted in attachment theory, helps couples understand unmet needs and unhealthy patterns that create disconnection, while the Gottman Method provides practical tools for communication, emotional intimacy, and trust—essential elements for a thriving, God-centered relationship.

Couples therapy is a meaningful investment in your relationship, especially when both partners are committed to the work of growth, healing, and connection. Whether you seek spiritual guidance or secular support, I am here to help you build a relationship grounded in both emotional and spiritual strength.

Frequently Asked Questions

Important to note: Couples Intensive Retreats are not a magic fix. They work best when both partners are committed to change, growth, and healing. Please keep in mind that these retreats are not designed for couples dealing with domestic violence, addiction, severe mental health disorders, or immediate crisis situations. For those, we recommend seeking professional mental health support tailored to your specific needs.
